#20 - Can YOU Start an online coaching business? And How to do it.
What do you want most from your business?
What is it that you want from it?
Don’t JUST say money.
Because that’s not what you actually want.
What you want is the life and the feeling that the money and successful business can actually give you – that you don’t have RIGHT now.
And it’s not in the strategy – the tips, tricks, hacks, and marketing.
It’s in your mindset. Because if you have a fixed mindset, that’s why you are staying stuck.
But you’re not stuck in this mindset…unless you want to be.

what is really needed for a successful coaching biz
Do you even have something that’s worthy enough?
That’s worth people liking you for?
I mean other than just your time and showing up, do you actually have something, some gift or talent that people will be like lining up to pay you for?
Something that people will like you for just because it’s YOU?
Well…if you’re answer was:
- I don’t know
- I don’t think so
- I can’t
Basically anything that makes you feel stuck or hopeless. Then that’s fixed mindset.
Believing that you can’t or you’re stuck or you can’t change or things will never be different, or that’s us how things are.
And the biggest difference I have seen in my own business and the growth of my clients’ businesses and their lives for that matter, their marriages, their parenting, everything is their mindset; whether it’s a growth mindset or a fixed mindset.
do I have the right mindset to run a great coaching business?
So many of the women I talk to have a dream that in creating a business they’ll be able to show their children what is possible.
Just to open their eyes to the possibilities.
First of all, why can’t you do that right now?
Second of all, the best way to show possibilities is to remove your own limits first.
Limits around what you can and can’t do.
Limits around who you think you are or are not (“I’m not athletic” or “I’m not creative).
Limits around how much you allow dreams, passion, and liveliness to be in your life.
And if you literally just came up with a stream of excuses – you have a fixed mindset.
But hope is not lost.
fixed mindset real world examples
Thoughts or statements about:
- This is just how it’s always been.
- That’s just how I was raised.
- That’s just who I am.
- I could never_____
- I always ______
- I don’t have a choice.
- I can’t
- I can’t afford it
- I just don’t know how
- I’m not good at that.
A fixed mindset is one that focuses the majority of the 70,000 daily thoughts on what is not, will not be, cannot be – especially for YOU specifically.
Whereas a growth mindset focuses on the opportunities, the potential, what could be and then believing enough in that to take action and go for it!
